A series of 'have-a-go' activities will be available at Northampton College's Daventry Open Event on Saturday, 17 May, 12-4pm. The free Open Event at the College's Badby Road West site is aimed at giving people the opportunity to see what it is really like to study at Northampton College, with 'have-a-go' activities including biscuit decorating for those interested in studying catering, engine diagnostics for budding mechanics, fitness testing for those sport enthusiasts and a practical demo on how to make simple computerised animations for anyone who might want to learn IT.
Almost 20 hands-on 'have-a-go' sessions will span all the course areas running from the College's Daventry site from September 2014, and anyone attending the Open Event will have chance to get involved. The event follows on from the successful launch of the College's very own branded milkshake in partnership with popular local coffee shop, The Hideout earlier this year.
