More than 120 Northampton College staff and students have been given the opportunity to quiz an aspiring MP on topics such as university tuition fees, immigration, the voting age and healthcare reforms.
Chris Leggett, the Liberal Democrat prospective parliamentary candidate for Northampton North, visited Booth Lane to meet construction, IT, public services, music, motor vehicle, health and social care and supported learning students.
Ahead of the General Election on July 4, students had the chance to voice their concerns on a range of policies based on personal experience and hear direct from someone standing in the local constituency.
