Musical theatre students from Northampton College have ticked off the sort of gig most performers can only dream about... playing at Wembley Stadium.
A total of 28 year one and year two students took to the stage at the iconic sporting venue to perform at the national SME business awards, impressing guests at the lavish black tie event with a medley of songs from musicals Chicago and Rent.
Student Samantha O'Neill said: It's amazing to have performed at Wembley in just my second year. We have been rehearsing these particular pieces since October between other shows, so we were really confident and knew our stuff.
