A Public Services student has become one of the County's youngest Special Constables at the age of 19.
Amelia-Jane Hicks from Delapre finished an intense three-month training programme with Northamptonshire Police, which she completed alongside her full-time course at Northampton College. She took up her post as a Special Constable at the beginning of January having previously been a Police Cadet, and says she is now on her way to pursuing her long-term dream to become a traffic officer or dog handler.
