On Thursday 22, May students studying Hairdressing courses at Northampton College will be putting on an eclectic and innovative Hair Show at The Deco theatre in Northampton. Every year the Hairdressing students put on an impressive show at a local venue in Northampton, which showcases the fantastic skills and techniques that they have learnt during their course.
This year features a Haute Couture theme and students have been given various top name designers including Alexander Mcqueen and Viktor and Rolf to use as inspiration for their creations. The students have been preparing for this event for several months, attending regular workshops in order to finish their designs. They've also used a wide range of materials in order to mimic the styles and techniques of the designers they are focusing on, from chicken wire and jumbo hair to spray paint and handmade accessories.
