Neil Tobin, who has been awarded the Silver Teaching Award in the FE Lecturer of the Year category of the Pearson Teaching Awards 2016, was presented with his award today (17 June) as part of the national Thank a Teacher Day.Selected from thousands of nominations, Neil is just one of 55 winners from schools and colleges across England, Ireland and Wales. Neil will now join fellow Silver Award winners at the UK final of the teaching awards, to be held at London's Guildhall on 23 October 2016, where 10 Silver Award winners will receive a Gold Award.
