Two current catering students and seven ex-students from Northampton College made the final of this year's Northamptonshire Food and Drink Awards, beating off fierce competition from across the county.
Now in its sixth year and devised by Northamptonshire Enterprise Partnership, the competition aims to celebrate all that is great about local produce and drink and recognises excellence within the county's dining venues, rewarding those who work within the culinary sector. Among the titles up for grabs were those of Young Chef of the Year, Community Pub of the Year, and Restaurant of the Year.
