Hywel Jones, the Executive Chef of a highly acclaimed Michelin Star restaurant and former Welsh champion of BBC2's Great British Menu performed a live demo for Midlands-based catering students and industry professionals on Friday, 6 June. Hywel Jones, who runs The Park Michelin-starred Restaurant and The Brasserie at Lucknam Park Hotel & Spa near Bath, performed a three-hour live catering demonstration and question and answer session for over 100 students and industry experts at Northampton College, Booth Lane.
As well as students from Northampton College, students from Leicester and Peterborough colleges and North Warwickshire and Hinkley College also attended along with representatives from Midlands Institute of Hospitality, City and Guilds, Visionary Dining and Northampton Food & Drink.
