Staff and students from Northampton College are celebrating gold after scooping the top digital and social media award in this month's national FE First Awards.
The College was awarded the top accolade for its new lifechanging film, which features local students, has been screened at Northampton cinemas and is used across social media channels to promote the College, its courses and campus life to new, existing and prospective students.
The judges, unanimously selecting Northampton College as a standout entry, praised the College for its creative film which they described as a masterclass in modern storytelling.
Pat Brennan-Barrett, Principal of Northampton College, added: We have created the country's best digital and social media campaign this year and now it's official. Key to the success of our film has been featuring local students, who have secured the jobs of their dreams after studying with us ' proof that dreams can come true and lives can be changed.
