A new programme has been developed by Northampton College in response to the high number of young people who don't feel adequately equipped with the skills they need to present themselves in job applications or interviews and may therefore be missing out on getting selected for an Apprenticeship or other opportunities.
The 12-day programme is spread across several weeks and covers a range of topics such as identifying strengths, developing team building and communication skills and all of the practical aspects of applying for an Apprenticeship and searching for a job. Aimed specifically at 19-24 year olds the course will also help young people to develop their confidence whilst gaining a City and Guilds Level 1 qualification in Employability.
