Northampton College was delighted to host the first ever Bangladeshi Masterchef competition to be aimed solely at female cooks.
The event was held to encourage Bangladeshi women to emerge from home kitchens into a professional environment, a role that is traditionally taken by men in Bangladeshi culture.
The competition showcased the incredible skills of Bangladeshi women who wowed judges including the new Mayor of Northampton Stephen Hibbert with their blend of spices and flavours.
