While you are at college you will also have the opportunity to take part in sports, coach students, organise sporting events for your peers and play in the Association of Colleges football league.

Key elements of the course include:

  • Anatomy and physiology – investigating how the body responds to sport and exercise and how sports professionals can use this knowledge to gain a competitive advantage
  • Fitness training and programming for health, sport and wellbeing
  • Coaching for performance – you will learn about the mind and sports performance, covering key topics such as personality, motivation and anxiety.
