This practical course provides the opportunity to learn how to weld or develop existing welding skills in all of the common welding processes. The course is entirely practical in the workshop.

During this course you will be able to:
- Produce welds in either flat/horizontal
- Work with specified materials, thicknesses and tolerances

This course is ideal for you if you are a Beginner or a welder wishing to gain experience of other welding processes and seeking a basic qualification in welding.

How is the course assessed?
The completion of five practical tasks for each of the processes chosen plus a written/verbal assessment.

After completing the course students can study for a Welding Technical Certificate combining both theory and practical studies. The Awards and Certificates could help you develop your welding and fabrication career and take on jobs that require basic skills.
