In this course you will improve your speaking and listening skills in English.
You will study English vocabulary and language at Entry 3 (pre-intermediate) level. You will practise pronunciation, word and sentence stress, grammar and language you can use in common everyday situations. You will learn how to ask and answer questions using everyday language. You will start to use longer, more complex sentences to explain things and to distinguish between formal and informal language.

Who is this course for?
This course is aimed at people whose first language is not English and who have a pre-intermediate level of English skills in speaking and listening.

How is the course assessed?
The course is assessed via formal examination at the end of the course.

General info
There are no specific materials needed for the course but please bring pens, paper and a folder to organise your work to every lesson. You might find an English monolingual or a bi-lingual dictionary useful.

Entry Requirements for new students
All new students must attend an ESOL Initial Assessment and be assessed as working towards Entry Level 3.
You must attend an ESOL Initial Assessment which could take up to ninety minutes.
