This course follows on from part time manicure. Students are required to attend all classes, which will run in the evening from 5.45pm - 8.45pm. On successful completion of the course you could work in a nail salon or on a nail bar.

The course is made up of theory aspects of nail technology and the practical treatment, including:
- Acrylic nails and infills
- Anatomy and physiology of the nail and skin is also included

Students who wish to gain a qualification in acrylic tip application.

- how to perform advanced consultations for advanced manual and technical therapies to design bespoke treatment plans
- how to develop and maintain salon procedures to safely control Work operations

General info
You will be required to bring with you to every lesson pens and a notebook. You will be given packages to assist you with your qualification; these must also be brought with you to every lesson.
Uniform and kit will need to be purchased and these and appropriate dress code will be discussed with you at your advice and guidance session.
You are required to purchase a small ring binder and dividers for your portfolio of evidence.

Entry Requirements for new students
The student must possess a Level 2 Manicure and Health and Safety qualification. You should be well groomed, motivated and be able to communicate at all levels. You should be dexterous and well-coordinated.
