Motor Vehicle EngineeringI completed the Level 1 and Level 2 Vehicle Refinishing course at Northampton College to help me get into the motor industry. I am now an Trainee Apprentice Painter at Jaguar Land Rover, a role that allows me to learn on the job and gain valuable experience. I am proud to be in this trade, as it is still rare to find females working in this male-dominated industry - but I definitely think more girls should join me as it's a excellent sector for us to thrive in!

Business Administration ApprenticeI really enjoyed working at The Frank Bruno Foundation as a Business Administration apprentice, and I definitely grew in confidence during my time there. In my role, I was responsible for lots of different things, mainly dealing with numbers, statistics and figures. I'm particularly proud that I was awarded 'Best Apprentice' at the College's Booth Lane Awards Ceremony. I have now completed my apprenticeship, having passed my end point assessment with a distinction, and secured employment at Network Rail.

Manufacturing Engineering ApprenticeshipJoining Northampton College was the next step from leaving school and I responded well to being given a little more responsibility. I think you grow more in lots of ways when the ball is in your court. I’m someone who asks a lot of questions and the tutors had a lot of patience, willingness and ability to explain things. I’ve now completed the first year of a degree at Oxford Brookes University and have aspirations to set up my own construction company in the future.
