Aspiring chefs cook up a storm in college kitchens
A total of 10 talented students, aged between 12 and 16, took part in the Northamptonshire finals of the Springboard FutureChef competition on Wednesday, January 6, showcasing their cooking skills and battling it out for the right to take their place in the regional finals next month.
Two of the cooks made it through after two gruelling 90 minute tests which saw them prepare a two-course meal for a panel of expert judges.
