As much as I enjoy reading those third-party websites telling us that we’re killing napkins and avocados, it’s time for society to actually grant us our deserved recognition. People love to tell us that we’re by far the most catastrophic generation but they don’t realise how far we’ve come.
I love this time of year when the leaves are turning yellow and our thoughts are turning towards autumn nights, Halloween and bonfires. But it’s also the time when we start to think about next autumn as we launch our brand new shiny prospectus for September 2018-19.
Cilla Black is a national institution. For some, she’s the flame-haired singer who led women in the Swinging Sixties, for others she was Miss Saturday Night, keeping us glued to our screens on Blind Date and Surprise Surprise. For all of us, she is, quite simply, a legend in the world of entertainment.
I am here and experiencing college first hand and here are a few things I’ve discovered after my first few weeks in the second year at Northampton College.
I’ve had a wonderful time here so far studying journalism and this year is possibly the most fun I’ve had, with teachers making all of the lessons really enjoyable.
