Due to the national 'Stay at Home' lockdown, all students are expected to move to online learning until further notice.
This is except for:
Students that fall into any one of these groups have the option to attend lessons on site, and should contact the College to make these arrangements.
Further information for students can be found here.
In line with Government guidance, the Nursery at Booth Lane will remain open until further notice.
In light of the more stringent lockdown measures, the College has taken the decision to cancel the majority Vocational & Technical examinations and assessments due to take place in January.
This is not a decision we have taken lightly but having reviewed our risk assessments and the level of transmissibility of the new strain, we cannot guarantee the safety of the students taking the exam and the staff required to administer these exams.
Please be aware that the GCSE exams due to take place this summer have also been cancelled by the Government.
It is anticipated that exams will be replaced with college-based assessments, and final grades will be decided between the College and the exam boards.
We expect an announcement from exam boards within the next few weeks confirming the final arrangements for grading, and will communicate this information to students as soon as we can.
As can be expected, this is a highly dynamic situation and we will continue to update you with important information. All updates will be communicated by text and email at the earliest opportunity – if you need to update your contact details, please click here.
We would like to thank you for your ongoing support during this time.
